Italy Bruno Coelho wins at 2022 Charity race janvier 25, 2022 by Chris Laisser un commentaire The 2022 edition of the iconic Charity race was held last weekend at the RC Landia indoor track in Scandiano, Italy. As always, the proceeds from entry fees as well as the traditional end-of-race lottery with prizes offered by numerous sponsors will be used to purchase medical material for the pediatric ward of the nearby Reggio Emilia hospital. The race saw a strong turnout which confirms that the event is now a great classic on the international calendar and the smooth running was guaranteed by the federal ACI Sport protocols for RC Racing and the approval of relevant local authorities. In Touring Modified, Bruno Coelho (XRAY/Hobbywing/Sunpadow/Brunorc/FX Engines/Hot Race Tires) dominated the class, taking the TQ and the win from Gabriele Berselli (Awesomatix) in second and Michele Romagnoli (Mugen Seiki) in third. The Touring Stock saw a great fight between two very fast youngsters. Eventuallyit was Luca Romagnoli (XRAY) with the win, in front of Filippo Domanin (XRAY) in 2nd and Luca Giovannoni (Schumacher) in 3rd. In FWD, Guido Carbognani (Awesomatix) came out on top followed by Alessandro Arisi (RC Pro) and Roberto Fabiano (XRAY) in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Marco Mazzini (Awesomatix) confirmed his great shape in LMP Modified, taking the win from his team mates Mario Neri (Awesomatix) and Marcello Galli (Awesomatix). Luca Tassinari (Schumacher) took the win in GT12, leaving behind him the Schumacher duo of Davide Mischiatti (Schumacher) and Alessandro Giubbilei (Schumacher). Source: A. S. D.
