Virginia, USA Vail, Schreffler & Olson win at Blue Ridge Nationals novembre 11, 2020 by Chris Laisser un commentaire 161 racers attended the Blue Ridge Nationals that was held at Apex Center Wytheville in Wytheville, Virginia. The event was held in several Off-road classes including Nitro buggy, E-buggy, Nitro truck, E-truggy and 1/5th buggy and truck. Anthony Westergaard from Factory Tracks built a great layout and in Pro Nitro buggy it was Evan Vail (Team Associated/Werks Engines/Reedy/Pro-Line Racing) who set the overall TQ and brought home the win in the 30-minute final by 2 laps from Brandon Melton (Team Associated/Ultimate Engines/JConcepts) in second and Jason Schreffler (HB Racing/Performa Racing/Absolute Hobbyz/Hot Race Tyres) in third. Pro E-buggy saw J.Schreffler taking the overall TQ. He was able to take the win wire to wire in A1 however the second final was more difficult as J.Schreffler made a huge mistake on the first lap, putting him back to dead last. He drove as hard as he could and after an awesome battle with Cole Cabre (JQ Racing/O.S. Engines/JConcepts) with a couple minutes to go, he was able to win A2 and so take the win overall. C.Cabre came in second while Sean O’Keefe (HB Racing) ended the day on the third spot. The 1/5th buggy and truck class was TQed by Anthony Caligiuri (TLR) however in the 20-minute final it was Matthew Olson (MOD/TLR/MIP/JConcepts) who grab the win with 3 laps gap from the TQ holder. Tim Barth completed the top 3 result.
