Illinois, USA Mason Fuller wins at Thunder Road Hobbies club race mars 10, 2020 by Chris Laisser un commentaire The Thunder Road Hobbies track in Moline, Illinois held a club race that was attended by some of the fastest Off-road racers in the midwest. The track was rough and dusty, and in these pretty challenging conditions it was Jared Wiggins (Tekno RC/BLOK Engines/VP Racing Fuels/Pro-Line Racing) who set the overall TQ in the Nitro Buggy class. In the first 10-minute of the final, J.Wiggins would be able to pull the gap until at the end of the straightaway his clutch bearing seized up. After getting refired he got back on the track and he managed to close the gap with Mason Fuller (TLR/REDS Racing/JConcepts) in the lead. Coming down to the last lap M.Fuller ran out of gas, then as J.Wiggins passed his car his clutch bearing completely fell apart also taking him out just a corner after him. After an epic final, M.Fuller grabbed the win from J.Wiggins in second while Austin Wick (Team Associated/JConcepts) came in third.
