JConcepts reaches into their bag of tricks with the latest body for 1:10^th off-road racing. The new Striker body, inspired by one of the fastest closed-wheel racing vehicles in the world, the LMP. The standout feature, the wrap-around cab with sunglass style window treatment, just looks Striking in appearance. During the 2010’s, Brian Kinwald sported this style window design on some of his off-road race cars and JConcepts used a combination of his inspiration with ours to form the new pod style cab. 

Over the rear-end, a newly built stabilizing fin rises in height toward the rear of the shell to provide P2 style and performance characteristics. The front of the ramping feature blends into a tiny roof scoop reminiscent of the BJ4 Worlds Edition and provides a small finishing touch to the center section of the body. The sidepods are the simplest yet from JConcepts, rolling shapes, radius edges with variable blended heights float over trouble spots in the chassis geometry and inner electronic concerns. 

The rear portion of the 4wd body includes features to cover the rear of the vehicle while still appearing as an intergraded component into the overall concept. In front of the windshield, a slight recess redirects aero coming through the front shock tower to provide more useable windshield surface. The body shell includes the famed and often sampled carpet | turf | dirt wing in the popular and speedy 6.5” optimized width. The untrimmed Striker for the Schumacher Cat PB fits nicely around the chassis, through the front shock tower and hugs the chassis like a glove. 

The body arrives as clear polycarbonate with protective film and is available in standard and lightweight thickness. The Striker racing body is formed with care at the JConcepts headquarters in Groveland, Florida. Our favorite, the IFMAR World Championships, is the pinnacle of RC racing and a perfect setting for product releases and performance debuts. Designed, built, and produced in the 11^th hour, the new S15 body for the Schumacher Cat PB is everything you’ve come to expect from JConcepts. The heritage of the IFMAR World Championship winning S15 design runs deep in the new shell, and hits on all cylinders.  A great body to decal, the performance body has a lot of racing surface area to display an array of sponsors, and support. 

By request from IFMAR World Champion Broc Champlin, the JConcepts team made changes to the S15 for high-speed racing. The LP version has lowered roof height and appropriately adjusted sidepods and surrounding features to balance the look, fit, and finish of the new shell. In prototype form, Broc went on to win the 2026 ROAR 1:10^th off-road carpet nationals in Seabrook, New Hampshire. The S15LP was a force to recon with, and its enhanced features offered incredible speed out of the package. 

With successful designs coming from the Punisher, Finnisher, and Silencer line, the JConcepts crew made the decision, it was time for the S15. Incorporating lessons from the lineage, the team concentrated on the single cock-pit placement, deflection angles, hard edged (JConcepts chamfering), and side pod winglets. The single side window design is a departure from the usual JC team body shells but drops in nicely on the S15. Driving the S15, it performs like a champion, albeit slightly different than its predecessors, the delicate nature of the shell allows the driver to flow, drive smoothly, and radius difficult corners without over aggression. 

The new item follows the chassis shape like a glove and the tidy arrangement is free of unwanted gaps. The center line roof fin helps the body stand up to rigorous demands of crashes and off-track excursions and while on the track, provides straight line tracking ability. The top of the side pod rolls into the rear end section helping with the force placed just in front of the rear tires. Just behind the cab, there is a trim-able section dedicated to rear escape of hot air and inner shell build up. 

The back of the body has a climbing spoiler shape that uses the rear of the body to increase rear downforce. As always, the body arrives with window mask, decal sheet, two of the latest Carpet | Turf | Dirt wings for a quick transition from preparation to racing.
