Phi-Long Nguyen doubles at 2026 Texas Shootout

2026 Texas Shootout was held at Thornhill Racing circuit located in Hutto, Texas. The layout included high-speed sections and crazy, big jumps. After three rounds of qualifying it was XRAY’s Dakotah Phend who took the overall TQ in Pro nitro buggy while Kyosho racer Phi-Long Nguyen was the top qualifier in the Pro E-buggy class. Phi-Long brought home the win in the 30-minute nitro buggy final in front of SWORKz’s Mason Fuller and The Phenom, in second and third respectively. Phi-Long won the E-buggy finals to secure the overall win. Phi-Long’s teammate Ryan Lutz came in second while Team Associated driver Brandon Rose ended the day in third.
