VanDalen, Nguyen & Kilic win at 2026 TNR Fuels A-Main Challenge

2026 TNR Fuels A-Main Challenge was held at The Arenas of the George Ingalls Veterans Memorial Plaza located in Norco, California. The Arenas is a massive facility and the track was just as big. After only two qualifying rounds, Tekno’s Seth VanDalen took the overall TQ in both the 1:8th Pro nitro buggy and Pro 1:8th E-buggy while Mugen Seiki racer Burak Kilic scored the overall TQ in 1:8th E-truggy and 1:8th Pro nitro truggy classes. After a hard-fought 30-minute nitro buggy final, VanDalen grabbed the win with a margin of less than half a second from Kilic while Kyosho driver Phi-Long Nguyen rounded out the top 3, 8s further.

Nguyen brought home the win in the single 10-minute E-buggy final by being the only one to break the 14-lap mark from VanDalen in 2nd and Kilic in 3rd. Kilic was able to convert the TQ into the win in the 30-minute nitro truggy final in front of Tekno/JConcepts superstar Ryan Maifield in second while his teammate VanDalen completed the podium result. Nguyen came out on top in the 10-minute E-truggy final with 2.5s gap over Kilic. Tekno RC race Jared Wiggins rounded out the top 3.
