T-Work’s have announced the release of their new aluminium shock towers intended for use with the Mugen Seiki MBX8R and MBX8R Eco 1:8th buggies. The front and rear shock towers are CNC machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminum alloy and coated with a hard black anodized finish. CNC machining combined with a high-hardness surface treatment will provide increased wear resistance, anti-deformation properties, and a more precise adjustment compared to the stock parts. Both towers are designed with additional attachment holes for the shocks, allowing for more flexible adjustment of the height of the shocks position. Although the rear tower is sold separately, the front tower comes with removable inserts and screws; simply tighten the mounting screws and loosen the corresponding screws to easily remove/replace the adjustment nuts.
