Development on Schumacher Racing’s racing cars never stops! UK-based company are pleased to bring you these new options for the Cougar LD3 1:10th 2WD buggy and Storm ST2 1:10th stadium truck. This five gear transmission provides the LD3 buggy with more rotation and gives a different feel to the cars handling. Especially good on high grip carpet surfaces. Used by the team recently to win the EOS in Daun and Florida Carpet Championships.

It enables you to run a car which has more mechanical grip, (rear toe, camber change, etc…) while still enabling good rotation at high speed on fast open tracks. The five gear transmission is manufactured from 3D printed aluminium, utilising cutting edge design software. Using this advanced approach allows for a lightweight but strong design. Installation of the gearbox parts is simple due to the singular casing which has minimal fastenings to secure them.

In addition to the 5 gear transmission we have this new ‘low’ shock tower for the LD3. The new tower lowers the shocks by 3mm. It is especially good for carpet racing with its lower centre of gravity and reduced up-travel. Included is a 2mm internal shock spacer to reduce the droop due to the lowering of the tower. Once again used by the team to win at the Florida Carpet Championship and EOS.
