2025 IFMAR 1/8th E-buggy Worlds – 3rd consecutive TQ for Marcus Kaerup

The rain began to fall overnight, and it was on a totally changed track that the drivers kicked off their day here in Barcelos, Portugal, for the 2025 IFMAR 1/8th E-buggy World Championship. The change is quite significant: after having driven on a high-grip track, the drivers are now faced with a very reduced grip. The choice of settings, differentials, shocks and speed controller will play a decisive role, especially as with the return of the sun, track conditions will change over time. In this regard, it was once again Team Associated’s Marcus Kaerup who took the TQ. A perfect choice of tires, a high-performance car, fluid, precise and fast driving – everything was in tune, and since yesterday, only Cayote racer David Ronnefalk has managed to take a TQ from him. The only ones keeping pace were his team-mate Davide Ongaro, and the Schumacher duo of Michal Orlowski and Daniel Kobbevik.
