Juan Carlos Canas is overall TQ at 2025 EFRA nitro buggy European champs

After four close qualifying rounds, it was down to the fifth round to see who would come out on top. Despite having two TQs, Juan Carlos Canas was not yet guaranteed to be the top qualifier, especially after a Q4 dominated by XRAY driver David Ronnefalk, who was once again at the top of his game. Ronnefalk came close to pulling off the feat, but Canas, who was definitely on form at the right time, wasn’t going to let the opportunity to win the Q5 TQ and the coveted top qualifier title slip away. The two drivers were the only ones to drive at this breakneck pace, with times under 5:08s. Team Associated driver Davide Ongaro was once again very consistent with a fast and flawless pace. He lacked a little speed to compete with Canas and Ronnefalk, but perhaps he was hiding his game, who knows… Mugen Seiki driver Berkan Kilic finished just ahead of Ongaro in his qualifying round. There’s no doubt that the semi-finals will have a few surprises in store. Stay tuned!
