2024 EFRA European Championship 1/8th E-buggy – Juan Carlos Canas won A3 final juin 9, 2024 by Chris Laisser un commentaire Juan Carlos Canas has just won the 3rd and last final of the European E-buggy championship. With the title secured, Davide Ongaro stayed away from this thrilling A3 final to let the drivers do their thing. Even before the start, João Figueiredo, who had a great deal to play for, suffered a technical issue and asked for a 4-minute postponement. By starting last, he saw his chances of turning a superb weekend into reality disappear. It’s a real shame, but the speed is undeniably up there! Noha Ben Mohamed is now in first place on the starting line. He made a good start and kept up a high pace, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the comeback of Juan Carlos Canas. After a few laps behind the young French driver, Juan Carlos eventually overtook him and gradually widened the gap. Noha was safe for a while, but his team-mate Bruno Coelho came close and then passed him. Noha and Bruno were in contention for 3rd place overall, and Bruno took the opportunity to overtake Noha and then pull away from him to finish with a comfortable lead of 7s. Juan Carlos secures 2nd place overall and Bruno 3rd. All results are available here.Click here for HD photo gallery.
