Option Parts RPM GTR shock shaft guards mai 14, 2024 by Chris Laisser un commentaire RPM have introduced their new shock shaft guards intended for use with the Traxxas GTR shocks. The shock shaft guards are the ultimate upgrade to protect your expensive GTR shocks. Rocks, dirt and debris striking shock shafts lead to dents, dings and burrs. Damaged shock shafts leads to torn shock seals. Torn shock seals means leaky shocks and poor shock performance. RPM Shock Shaft Guards shield the shock shaft from those deteriorating elements, prolonging the life of the shock shaft. Smoother shafts improve the longevity of the seals and in turn, prolongs the time between shock rebuilds. Shopping! Wartelle Shop Shopping! RC Team Shopping! Absolute Hobbyz RPM shock shaft guards are a simple, two-piece design. RPM’s guards replace your stock shock spring cup. RPM then bolt on a thin but tough shield rising up to the base of the shock body. This shield completely blocks debris from striking the shock shaft. The back and sides are open, which prevents mud and gunk from building inside the guard as well. The front shield of the guard covers over 100° of frontal exposure! RPM shock shaft guards are zero friction protection devices, meaning the guards never touch the moving elements of the shock. RPM shock shaft guards are sold in sets of four. About RPM R/C products: RPM was established in 1974 as a plastic mold making and injection molding facility. Many of the first high tolerance, precision molded parts built by RPM were for the commercial and medical industries, where accuracy is critical. It wasn’t until the mid 1980’s that RPM began designing parts for the R/C industry. These parts were of the same quality and precision that exist in the injection-molded parts we build to this day. Since RPM’s inception, we have expanded our mold making capacity by purchasing some of the best machine tools available. In addition, RPM has a complete injection molding facility in-house. Every single molded product made by RPM is conceived, designed, built and manufactured in our facility, right here in Chino, California USA! Very few manufacturers have the capabilities that RPM has for full in-house production. This ability to design, manufacture and produce our own products gives us the best possible quality control over our parts. Excellent quality control, in turn, gives our customers the best possible parts!
