United Kingdom Elliott Boots wins at BRCA Rally X Nats Rd2 mai 14, 2024 by Chris Laisser un commentaire The second ound of the BRCA Rally X Nationals was held at East Shrewsbury BRC track located in Hadnall, United Kingdom. Weather was lovely all weekend, and it was great to race on a tough, challenging old school track. Jonny Skidmore (XRAY/FX Engines/Optifuel) took the overall TQ and he lined up on pole for the semi final. Around 5 laps in Jonny misjudged the back step up, brushed the wooden board and broke his XB8. The finale is just around the corner, and already a new turn of events is underway as Elliott Boots (SWORKz/REDS Racing/Shoot Fuel/Hot Race Tires) will face an unplanned stop on first lap due to a stone. I knew I had 45mins but I also knew I had to push for the whole 45mins to catch back up, I managed to catch back up, un lap myself then I could start to make up places. Elliott Boots Luckily his pit man Matt was on his toes and got the SWORKz back to the pits as fast as possible and got the ride out on the track super fast but unfortunately Elliott was two laps down from the get go. Elliott had to push for the whole 45-minute to catch back up. Neil Cragg (Team Associated/Alpha Plus/Reedy/Piranha Fuel/Pro-Line Racing) was leading for the first half of the main but he just couldn’t hold Elliot back. With around 8 minutes to go Elliott was able to take over the lead and once he had the lead, Elliott managed the race to bring it home. Neil came in second while Graham Alsop (HB Racing/OptiFuel/Novarossi/Hot Race Tyres) ended the day in third. Fair play and well done to Elliot on an amazing drive through the field after an early flame out, just too fast!! Neil Cragg I certainly had the pace to go all the way this weekend and It’s still all to play for so I won’t let this affect the rest of the national season!
