Germany, Europe Berkan Kilic doubles at German nationals warm-up race mai 15, 2024 by Chris Laisser un commentaire The warm-up race of the German 1/8th off-road nationals was held at MSC Sand Am Main track over the weekend. Berkan Kilic (Mugen Seiki/Ninja/Nitrolux/LRP/6MIK) was able to take the overall TQ in both the 1/8th nitro buggy and 1/8Th E-buggy classes. Berkan was leading the semi-final from the start until he suffered from a random flame out, resulting in a 4th place on the grid for the final. The start of the final was a bit of a struggle, but Berkan managed to take the lead, eventually ending one lap in front of Aaron Rönick (Team Associated/Ruddog Engines/Hot Race Tires) in second and Max Hesse (SWORKz/REDS Racing/T-Pro Fuel/Hot Race Tyres) in third. Also it was my second race with the 6mik tires! The tires just worked flawless all weekend long… Berkan Kilic The qualifiers and finals were very close between Berkan and Jörn Neumann (SWORKz/Nova Engines/Orca/GensAce/TPro), but always with fair play and fun. Berkan brought home the win from Jörn while Maxim Milde (Mugen Seiki/MZM Engines) rounded out the top 3.
