Michigan, USA Lemieux & Champlin win at 2024 JConcepts INS14 mars 26, 2024 by Chris Laisser un commentaire 2024 JConcepts Spring Indoor Nationals Series INS14 were held at RC ONE Racing indoor track located in Macomb Township, Michigan. After three rounds of qualifying, with two legs counting for the TQ, Broc Champlin (Schumacher Racing/Hobbywing/Gens Ace/ JConcepts) took the TQ in modified 2WD buggy class while Dakotah Phend (TLR/Ultimate Racing/Trinity/Pro Performance/Beach RC/Nitrolux Fuels/JConcepts) was the top qualifier in the modified 4WD buggy class. Broc and Chase Lemieux (XRAY/Hobbywinf/FX Engines/JConcepts) shared the win in both 2WD buggy A1 and A2 meaning they were tied on points before the A3. Lap traffic would play huge into A3. Broc and Chase were 1 and 2 about a second apart and a lap car would get in Chase’s way and ended flipping him over. About a lap later Chase would break. Just as the race looked set to be won for Broc, another lap car would jump into Broc lane ending in him breaking and Chase winning the tiebreaker. Chase’s teammate Tom Rinderknecht (XRAY/R1 Wurks/JConcepts) secured third spot, wining A3. Broc was in control of things in modified 4WD buggy finals, wining the first two A-mains to take the win. The Phenom came in second while Aydin Horne (Team Associated/Reedy/1up Racing/Pro-Line Racing) completed the podium result.
