Team Associated Apex2 rally conversion kit

Associated Electrics have introduced the new Team Associated rally conversion kit intended for use with the Apex2 series of 1/10th vehicles. The conversion kit consists of rally shocks featuring longer shock shafts and aluminum threaded shock bodies with larger oil capacity to soak up off-road terrain in true rally fashion. The carbon fiber shock towers with tower covers allow for taller shock mounting positions for increased suspension travel while lower +3 arm mounts widen the lower suspension by 3mm from center to provide increased stability and traction.

A taller set of 5.8mm ball studs allows for more clearance and movement for the links. The new Apex2 chassis includes chamfering for added down-travel and suspension capabilities and front CVA driveshafts provide more on-power traction and more predictable driving feel. Sealed, tunable center diff with 72T 48P gear increases traction and stability on-power in off-road conditions. The parts are a direct fit for the Apex2 and Apex2 Sport RTR vehicles including Apex2, Apex2 Sport, Apex2 Sport A550, Apex2 Sport Datsun 620, Apex2 Sport Nissan Z, and Apex2 Sport ST550.
