Italy, Europe 5th annual Bracing Picco trophy – Report novembre 16, 2023 by Chris Laisser un commentaire Last weekend after weeks of bad weather was held the 5th annual Bracing Picco trophy at Nitropark Pietrasanta track. About sixty racers attended the event which was run on a completely new layout despite unpredictable weather, as is usually to be expected in the foothills of the Apuan Alps. The attendance of Samuele Lenzi and Fabrizio Teghesi (HB Racing) in the F1 field is a reminder of the good old days! However, the final of the F1 nitro buggy class was comfortably won by Fabrizio, who also set the fastest lap, followed by Andrea Pellegrino (Kyosho), who had to battle with Cristian Michelucci (Team Associated) for most of the race when Cristian was in second place. The Mayako duo of Antonio Mancino and Andrea Catania came in first and second respectively in the F2 final with local driver Antonio setting the fastest lap. Anthony Greggi (WRC) came in third. The E-buggy A final saw Luca Lotti (HB Racing) taking the win from Francesco Vaselli (Mugen Seiki) and Daniele Berni, who put in an impressive run given that he had never driven on the new track before the race. Alessandro Bolognesi (HB Racing) brought home the win in F2 finals from D’amore Emanuele (Mayako) in 2nd and Davide Giannanti (HB Racing) in 3rd. The E-buggy B final saw Luca Cavallini (Kyosho) from Marco Cane (Mugen Seiki) and Luciano Laorenza (XRAY° in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Thanks to Roberto Tranchida for the report.
