driver News What car will David Ronnefalk be racing next? We want to hear from you! septembre 11, 2023 by Chris Laisser un commentaire David Ronnefalk’s departure from HB Racing after many successful years came as a surprise, as did his signing with Mayako. The brand had only just been created and its image was already scandalous, undoubtedly due to the presence of the always controversial Joseph Quagraine. The first year was a success, to say the least. A European title, a runner-up spot in the World Championship, not to mention the RCGP, it’s hard to do much better. But season 2023 seems to have caused the Mayako/Ronnefalk duo to fall into the deep end. The honeymoon was over, back to reality! Whose fault is it, it’s not for me to say, but the decision to leave, although presented as a mutual agreement, seems to have come more from one side than the other. The following departure of Hampus Berg, perhaps linked to the same root cause or out of solidarity with David, leaves JQyako with two top drivers, Robert Batlle and Pekko Iivonen, Jared Tebo having already announced his retirement, scheduled for the end of 2023. So it is an open question as to where the Swedish driver will set down his bags. The brand selection is yours for the choosing. If you’re a long-time reader of Circus RC News, and you’re logical and pay attention to the news about the former world champion, you should have an idea of at least 2 or 3 possible brands meeting David’s criteria.
