T-Work’s 1/8th nitro buggy steel front universal driveshaft sets

T-Work’s have introduced their new steel front universal driveshaft sets intended for the use with 1/8th nitro buggies such as HB Racing D8 world Spec, D819RS, D819, TLR 8IGHT X2.0, and Mugen Seiki MBX8R, MBX8, MBX7R, and MBX7. Made from high-quality steel, these universals will replace the original ones and will work on the front end. A universal joint has less mechanical bind than a CVA joint. This results in a softer suspension feel when compared to the stock CVAs.

Universals will promote better handling in rough terrain and require minimal maintenance to keep performing at the highest level. Running universals on the front end provide more steering, since the buggy will transfer more weight to the front end. For the most balanced setup on bumpy tracks, run the universals front and rear. The front universal driveshafts for HB Racing measure 91.5mm, those for TLR are available in 92mm and 93mm while ones for Mugen Seiki 93.5mm are 93.5mm long.
