More photos of the Mugen Seiki 1/10th 2WD buggy

Our buddy Cédric Devillers was able to sneak a close-up view of Mugen Seiki’s new 1/10th 2 wheel-drive buggy. As we’ve already mentioned in this post, the buggy is so far in the pipeline that its launch is expected to be fairly soon, at the end of the year according to Adam Drake. Although quite familiar in design, the buggy seems to hide a few unique features, as stated by its designer on social media:

I can’t say much about it yet, but I tried to put some innovative ideas in places you can’t see.

Shin Adashi

One of the most visible features is the fixing of the shocks to the rear lower arms, using an anodized aluminum mount rather than a screw fastened directly to the arm. Another interesting thing is that there will only be one version of the buggy, which seems to imply that the chassis will be versatile enough to be effective on all types of surface. The chassis is set at a caster angle of 25° and the bulkhead is at 0°. For now, Mugen Seiki has not revealed the name of its new product.
