France, Europe Jordan Lot takes 2023 French 1/8th nitro buggy title septembre 25, 2023 by Chris Laisser un commentaire The final round of the French 1/8th nitro buggy national championship was held at MBC 61 track located in Chanu, Basse-Normandie, over the weekend. After five rounds of qualifying it was Matisse Peyre (XRAY/FX Engines/Corsatec/Aigoin Racing) with the overall TQ from Jordan Lot (SWORKz/Donuts Racing/Corsatec/Labema/T-Pro) and Théo Lemaire (HB Racing/Bullitt/WSLine/Wartelle Shop/6MIK Racing). Jodan won the fastest semi-final to start P1 for the 45-minute final. Théo will be winning the LCQ and thus joining the 12 other finalists. The title will be decided between Jordan and Reno Savoya (Kyosho/Picco/Konect/Gens Ace), who leads the championship after a winless but consistent season. Jordan, who has already captured this year’s 1/8th E-buggy title, is in goo spirits, and is determined to add a second title to this season’s campaign. The final went according to schedule for the Parisian driver, who even set a lap record with 2 minutes to go. Savoya finished 2nd, a result he would keep in the overall standings, while the young and talented Matisse ended in 3rd spot.
