UK Völker, Duchet & Schulz win at 2022 EWS novembre 23, 2022 by Chris Laisser un commentaire The Essex Winter Series were held this past weekend in Rayleigh, UK. In the modified touring car class, Ronald Völker (Mugen Seiki/LRP) was able to take the overall TQ from world champion Bruno Coelho (XRAY/Hobbywing/Sunpadow/Brunorc/SRC Racing/FX Engines/Hot Race Tires) in 2nd. Ronald was able to convert the TQ into the win, leaing Bruno in second and Christopher Krapp (Yokomo/Racing Performer/Nosram/Sanwa) in third. In the Stock 17.5 class, current stock world champion Alexandre Duchet (XRAY/Aigoin Racing/Orca) made the trip over from France and was the fastest in qualifying. Alex was able to secure the TQ spot ahead of his teammate Zak Finlay. The finals saw Alex taking the win from Zak while Ádám Izsay (XRAY/Hobbywing) ended the day on the third spot. In FWD touring, Stefan Schulz (XRAY) was fastest in qualification. His team mate Ben Cosgrove (XRAY) came in 2nd. The three finals would see some great racing at the front end of the main, with Stefan managing to stay in the lead. Ben and Nathan Parker came in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
