South Carolina, USA 2022 RCGP USA Rd7&8: the track octobre 14, 2022 by Chris Laisser un commentaire The last two rounds of the RCGP World Series is held at the Badlands RC Supercross track located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Myrtle Beach, or The Beach is a great spot where you can find 60 miles of beautiful coastline with stunning sunrises over the Atlantic Ocean, sprawling sandy beaches, lush natural wonders, and grand new adventures. Even in the winter, the sunshine in Myrtle Beach is warm and the weather is temperate, perfect for outdoor activities. The track belongs to Beach RC and for the event the entire layout was redesigned despite the area being hit by Hurricane Ian. The already heavy team effort was further challenged by strong rain the day before and on the first day of the event. Once again the team succeeded in making the track drivable which was not an easy task as the clay was not easy to dry. The track is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. The layout is very interesting, fast and technical with many ups and downs. The track is located in a recreational park, it has a very large parking lot and with the surrounding activities, it generates a large influx of people, making it an ideal venue to enjoy and promote our sport. The wooden rostrum is large and houses a technical room and a timing room. There is water, electricity, an area to start the engines, in short everything that is necessary. With a beautiful weather forecast and a well prepared track with a strong field, it is obvious that these 2 rounds with the final stake at the corner will be highly contested.
