Georgia, USA Cole Ogden sweeps SOS finals juin 23, 2022 by Chris Laisser un commentaire The final round of the Southern Off-road Series was held at Loganville RC complex located in Georgia over the weekend. Despite conflicting race weekends and fathers day, the round still got around 180 entries for the 2 day series finale. Friday was the practice day in the scorching 95+ degree temperature until around 7pm it totally monsooned outside. Tents went flying, trees were being uprooted, it was hailing and the power to Loganville got knocked out. The rain really helped the track more than anything and it set the tone for the surface the rest of the weekend. Cole Ogden (HB Racing/Ultimate Racing/VP Powermaster/Performa Racing/Hot Race Tyres) was able to TQ both Pro nitro buggy and Pro E-buggy. The 25 minutes final saw Cole Ogden taking the lead with his teammate Jackson Brunson (HB Racing/Murnan Modified Motors/Trinity/VP Racing Fuels/JConcepts) in tow until the first stop. Cole had a few run ins with lapped cars, then he started putting down the laps to secure the win. Jackson came in second 2 laps down while David Olsen (Tekno RC/Hobbywing/JConcepts) rounded out the top 3. The E-buggy mains were double A’s. Cole took the win in A1 and A2 to secure the overall win. The HB Racinf duo of Eddy Cordoba (HB Racing/Reds Racing/Absolute Hobbyz) and Kyle Neary (HB Racing/Ultimate Racing/TNR Fuels/Hot Race Tyres) came in second and third respectively.
