Nevada, USA Maifield, Lutz & Tebo win at 2022 Silver State mai 9, 2022 by Chris Laisser un commentaire The 2022 edition of the famous Silver State race was held this past weekend in one of the horse arenas at the South Point Hotel & Casino located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The track is of course another Joey « The Dirt » Christensen masterpiece with a challenging layout featuring a little bit of everything that includes doubles, switch backs and elevation changes that yield an overall nice fast flow to the track. The Pro nitro buggy saw Ryan Cavalieri (TLR/Ielasi Tuned/Hobbywing/Sunpadow/Pro-Line Racing) taking the overall TQ, however after a close 45 minutes final it was (again) Ryan Maifield (Mugen Seiki/ProTek RC/Yokomo/Hobbywing/VP Fuel/JConcepts) who grabbed the win with just over 6s over Ty Tessmann (XRAY/FX Engines/Hobbywing/Hot Race Tyres) in second while Mason Fuller (HB Racing/REDS Racing/Trinity/Absolute Hobbyz/JConcepts) ended the day in third, less than 3s from Ty. Ryan Lutz (Kyosho/Alpha Plus/Tekin/AKA) set the overall TQ in the Pro E-buggy class by TQing the 2 last rounds of qualifying. Then Ryan led the 10 minutes final from start to finish, leaving behind him Ryan Maifield and Ty, in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Ryan Maifield took the top qualifier spot in Pro nitro truck however in the final it was Jared Tebo (Tekno RC/JTP RC/NitroPro Fuel/Tekin/AKA) with the win after some great battles with Cav. Ty came in 3rd a lap further.
