California, USA Carlos Arredondo Jr. doubles at The Dirt at Perris Grand Opening Race août 3, 2021 by Chris Leave a Comment Joey ‘The Dirt’ Christensen and his crew held their The Dirt at Perris Grand Opening Race at the same spot where their famous DNC is run in the last years, in Perris, California. The event attracted 115 entries and was held in several Off-road classes. For this inaugural race Joey put up an amazing track with a great layout and elevation changes, making the track fun yet challenging. Adam Drake (Mugen Seiki/O.S.Engines/Flash Point Fuel/JConcepts) set the overall TQ in Pro Nitro Buggy while Carlos Arredondo Jr. (Tekno RC/Blok Engines/AKA) took the Top Qualifier spot in Pro Electric Buggy. Adam would not be able to convert the P1 spot into a win as Carlos brought home the win. Frank Prestigiacomo Jr. (TLR) came in 2nd and Adam rounded out the top 3 result. Carlos carried on his momentum in E-buggy and took his second win of the day leaving behind him Shaun Kirkman (Tekno RC) in second and Anthony Westergaard (TLR/REDS Racing/Tekin/Nitrotane/Pro-Line Racing) in third.
