Ohio, USA 2021 CRCRC Midwest 1/10th Off-road Championships – Report janvier 12, 2021 by Chris Leave a Comment The 34th CRCRC – Columbus RC Racing Club Midwest Championships was held at the Ohio RC Factory indoor track in Jeffersonville, Ohio, the event attracting 355 entries. The track provided some of the highest grip, highest speed off-road racing to date, making racing intense! The Modified 2WD Buggy was won by Spencer Rivkin (Team Associated/Mx Maxima//Hobbywing/JConcepts) in front of his teammate Dreighton Stoub (Team Associated/Fantom Racing/AKA) in second while the TQ holder Dakotah Phend (TLR/O.S.Engines/Trinity/JConcepts) came in third. The Phenom came out on top in Modified 4WD Buggy, followed by Spencer in 2nd and Tom Rinderknecht (TLR/Hobbywing/JConcepts), who set the TQ ended the day on the 3rd spot. Dakotah was in control of things in Modified Stadium Truck as he set the TQ and brought home the win from Cole Tollard (Team Associated/Reedy/JConcepts) and Ryan Cavalieri (TLR/Mx Engines/Muchmore Racing/Pro-Line Racing) in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Seth VanDalen (Tekno RC/O.S.Engines/JConcepts) took the Top Qualifier spot and the win in Mod 4WD Short Course Truck. Bradley Rippee (TLR/Tekin/Pro-Line Racing) in 2nd and Mike Bartkus (Tekno RC/Pro-Line Racing) in 3rd completed the podium. The 17.5 Stock Buggy class was TQed and won by Matthew Gonzales (Team Associated/Fantom Racing/1up Racing/JConcepts) rom Aj Marasco (Team Associated/Trinity/JConcepts) in 2nd and Doug Lariviere (Team Associated/Team Powers/1up Racing/JConcepts) in 3rd. Matthew was also the man to beat in 13.5 Stock 4WD Buggy as he set the TQ and came out on top once again from Paul Ciccarello (XRAY/Picco/Hobbywing/Motiv/AKA) and Brennan Schimmel (TLR/REDS Racing/AKA) in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
