Germany Hepp & Rausch win at Nitro West Masters final octobre 16, 2020 by Chris Leave a Comment Last weekend was held the sixth and final round of the Nitro West Masters Series at the Mck Dormagen track in Germany. Qualifying had to be held under wet conditions but the for the finals the track was dry. In the 1/8 open class, Tobias Hepp (Shepherd) managed to grab a direct qualifier spot and started from 2nd on the starting grid. After a few minutes into the final he was able to pass Daniel Toennessen (Mugen Seiki) and step by step he increased the lead. After 30-minute T.Hepp crossed the finishing line some 2 laps in front of D.Toennessen while Jean-Pierre Rönicke (Shepherd) completed the podium in third position. In the Open 1/10th Nitro touring class it was Bernd Rausch (Shepherd) was the man to beat. Starting from the pole-position he immediatelly pulled away from the rest of the field and never looked back. After 30-minute he crossed the finishing line some 10 laps in front Roland Karduck and Jörg Kleineberg in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
