France Reno Savoya doubles at 2020 Silver Pennes race septembre 28, 2020 by Chris Leave a Comment The 2020 Silver Pennes race was held at MRCPM track in Les Pennes-Mirabeau near Marseille, France. The event attracted some of the best French racers and was held in cold and pretty windy weather conditions. In the Nitro Buggy class Tom Robin (Team Associated/Ielasi Tuned Engines/Reedy/RunnerTime/Pro-Line Racing) set the overall TQ. Reno Savoya (Kyosho/Picco/Konect/Gens Ace/Racing Experience/AKA) started on pole position for the 45-minute final, and brought home the win with 1-lap margin on T.Robin in second and Thomas Musso (HB Racing/Corally) in third. The E-buggy was more challenging for R.Savoya. After five intensive rounds of qualifying between him and T.Musso it was T.Musso who grabbed the overall TQ. After five thrilling finals between both racers, R.Savoya was able to took the victory in the last Main, allowing him to take the overall win. T.Musso came in second while Armand Lantheaume (XRAY/Aigoin Racing/Corally) ended the day on the third spot.
