France Juan Carlos Canas on pole at Montpellier GP février 9, 2020 by Chris Leave a Comment The semi-finals of the Montpellier GP will offer some big surprises, as semi-final A will be run under mild weather conditions, semi-final B will be affected by rain from the start. The A final will therefore be much quicker with Juan Carlos Canas (SWORKZ/REDS Racing/Merlin/6MIK)leading from start to finish. The only one who will be able to keep up the pace will be Riccardo Berton (Infinity/O.S.Engines/Runner Time), but he will gradually fall behind. After a safe start, Davide Ongaro (Team Associated/LRP/AKA) will move closer to Reno Savoya (Kyosho/Picco/Racing Experience/AKA, the holder of the 3rd place during a major portion of the semi and then he will manage to overtake him to finish in 3rd. Semi-final B will be under the control of the British trio of Elliott Boots (SWORKz/REDS Racing/Shoot Fuel/Pro-Line Racing), Joni Skidmore (Agama/Bullitt/Pirahna/AKA)and Lee Martin (Agama/Bullitt)which will end in that order. This semi-final will therefore be rainy, making the off-road race into a drifting race where the outside parts of the track, avoided in the dry condition, will be prevailed because of the rain. Starting order for the final: Juan Carlos Canas Elliott Boots Riccardo Berton Joni Skidmore Davide Ongaro Lee Martin Reno Savoya Oscar Navarro Berkan Kilic Marco Ravaglia Burak Kilic Jemery Pittet Yannick Aigoin David Ronnefalk Partagez64TweetezEnregistrer64 PartagesAbout ChrisFounder of circusrc.com, journalist & photographer in the RC world for several years, Chris is passionate about RC, racing and technique.
