Australia Australian Touring Series Rd1 report octobre 9, 2019 by Chris Leave a Comment The first round of the Australian Touring Series was held at the MRCCR Inc track in Lilydale, Victoria, Australia. In the Modified Touring class it was Ryan Maker who set the TQ and took the win from Simon Nicholson in 2nd and Antoni Caretti in 3rd. In the 21.5 Stock Touring class, Glenn Wilson took the overall TQ but he would not be able to convert the TQ spot into a win as Steven Cornell brought home the win. G.Wilson came in 2nd and Tim Boundy rounded out the top 3. Tom De Nardis was the man to beat in 13.5 Super Stock Touring. He took the TQ and Win in front of Steven Cornell and Blair Cradick in second and third respectively. In the 17.5 GT class it was David Whittam who set the TQ and took the win from Peter Sprenger. In the Pro10 class, Scott Callaghan was in control of things, taking the TQ and Win from James Lachlan in second and Ricky Vocale in third. R.Vocale swept the 13.5 1/12th Stock class. He set the TQ and brought home the win from Scott Callaghan in 2nd and Brian Steward in 3rd. Scott Rawlings TQ and win the formula class. Chris Wilke and David Stevens rounded out the top 3.
