France Elliott Boots wins a thrilling Montpellier GP final février 10, 2019 by Chris Laisser un commentaire Elliott Boots (Kyosho) is the new Champion of the Montpellier GP after a pretty eventful finale. The World Champ Davide Ongaro (Team Associated) took the lead at the beginning of the final and quickly widen the gap with an easy way rarely seen here at the French GP. There was no doubt about the end of the run, only a technical issue could prevent the Italian driver from a well-deserved victory. Two minutes from the end, D.Ongaro broke is battery… Behind him the fight for the other places on the podium resulted in hard fights and finally it is E. Boots who will succeed in taking the victory. Juan Carlos Canas will be, like Riccardo Berton, in the top 5 during the final. They were fighting for 3rd place and D. Ongaro’s retirement will push them to the podium in 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
